Vulcan Mountains, Sept. 6, 2010

This area is called the Vulcan Mountains. They are located in the Oltenia Region of Romania. The narrow road winds through this mountainous region. You wonder what happens if you meet another vehicle. So we decided to get out and walk to see the beautiful view.

Buddy stands in the mouth of one of the caves that tunnel through the mountains.
Iosif Zene, pastor of the church in Valea, and his son Flavius are pictured with me inside the cave.
Buddy is braver than I am so he climbs up a little higher.
The water channels through the caves. It was breathtaking to see it all.
See the hole in the mountain! It was amazing at the beauty of God's creation! As we were walking down the road I made the comment: "And some people think all of this was created by a big bang. That is ridiculous."
